Whoa! This Kindle Lets You Type Unicode? Wow!
One time, I like typing these words. It's one of my hobbies. When I used my Kindle, one day, before, I had used a Japanese Keyboard for typing strange stuff, but all of a sudden, I found out you can type Unicode! Wow!
Well, what is it like?
Not much, but this is the Kindle I've received from Christmas 2018:
This costs somewhere in the $79.99 to $89.99 range. The best part about the Kindle is that it's not backlit. It helps cut down on rests for your eyes. When you have a glare free-screen, you don't need to have problems reading what you want in the sun.
Here is where it starts:
Best Part: Typing Unicode
The way you start off is you go to Settings > Languages > Keyboards and select the Japanese Keyboard:
It should be where I'm pointing (under Italian):
Next, pull it up by making a note and selecting the keyboard by clicking on the globe icon on the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Type something, preferably two-, three- or four-symbol combinations, or spell them out:
You see alpha in the top right corner? It looks like this "Αα". Tap on what symbol you want and switch back to the English keyboard to keep typing, or find more symbols and see what character combinations you can use!
Here are the character combos:
"あるふぁ"…"arufa"→"Αα"
"べーた"…"beーta"→"Ββ"
